The reason, many of their adds are centred around family and friends and sharing the drink itself together. It is a company invented in the 19th century and their Christmas Ad is famous for its nostalgia of the green brand colour; soon to become the famous red and white font brand we know today.

Coca Cola is a large franchise with a nostalgic feel.

The Dyer lines of appeal would be applied and that would be for Successful careers, as it is one of the many important search engines of the world and used to get a multi-medium of information. But, also, strategically use their large brand to advertise their own new products or by others.

Chanel is a high brow French privately owned fashion company. Chanel aims to show beautiful women and men, using famous faces from Marilyn Monroe to Audrey Tautou, and rich luxurious lifestyles.  how important Chanel revolutionised haute couture (high fashion). Their brand all their products with their logo and with that logo represents a sought of elegance because of the inexpensive prices and brand placement. 

Chanel reinvents fashion, transcending conventions and creating an uncomplicated luxury.

Tesco is a British multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer. They are know by brand as a family friendly local store. Their Dyer lines of appeal makes it known they like to target childhood and nostalgia with their low prices for higher quality foods, but also in adverts showcasing mostly their food ranges in a happy family setting placing themselves in that category. They also apply light humour to their ads to make them seem more home-gown, for the people and so more low-brow, to an extent. 

Tesco is for attainable local family lifestyle.
